What is an Eyebrow Lamination?

$55 - $60 * | Duration: 10-30 mins

*Discounts Available to Students, Teachers, Health Professionals, & Military Families

A non-invasive semi-permanent eyebrow treatment that realigns and lifts the eyebrow hairs up and out to create a thicker, fluffier, and more balanced eyebrow shape. This process involves applying a series of solutions that soften and then stiffen the hair into a set shape for 4 to 6 weeks, making it ideal for achieving a more polished look while being low-maintenance.

Additionally, the Keratin Treatment is included alongside the traditional two-step system - a vegan, nourishing solution applied, enriched with essential vitamins and keratin, it strengthens and repairs eyebrow and eyelash hairs, enhancing resilience and addressing any damage from the lamination process.

When to Book the Eyebrow Dye with the Eyebrow Lamination

The Eyebrow Lamination system naturally lightens your hair by a shade or two while it softens your hair integrity during step one.

If your natural eyebrow-hair color is greater than 4 (see below) or lighter than dark brown, I recommend that you book the eyebrow dye.

I’d never recommend a service if I feel like you won’t benefit from it physically or financially, so the day of, if we don’t need it, we won’t do it. If you need a consultation prior to your appointment, please contact me.

How to Prepare for your Eyebrow Lamination appointment

Exfoliating

Exfoliate regularly to avoid ingrown hairs - it makes it harder for me to remove every hair that we don’t want there.

Clean Skin

Please do not come with any eyebrow product on your eyebrows, like gels, pencil, or wax. Wash face before and after.

TweezinG

Avoid tweezing or trimming your eyebrows for 1 week before your appointment so I can work with all of your hair.

No Contacts

Avoid wearing contacts, as tightening the skin during threading can put gentle pressure on your eye.

Wear a mask

I work with many clients and want to protect everyone. I can’t wear a mask as I thread, so I request that you do.

No Shoes

I kindly request that you take your shoes off when you come inside my apartment! Thank you so much!

Before your brow lamination, avoid using retinoids, exfoliating acids (like AHAs and BHAs), benzoyl peroxide, or harsh scrubs on the brow area for at least 3–5 days, as these can make your skin more sensitive. Also skip heavy oils or balms 24–48 hours before your appointment to ensure the lamination works properly. This helps protect your skin and gives you the best, longest-lasting results.

aftercare guidelines

  • Avoid getting your eyebrows wet for the first 24-48 hours. This includes showering, sweating heavily, swimming, or applying skincare products around the area.

  • Resist the urge to touch, scratch, or rub your brows. This can disrupt the lamination process.

  • Oil-based makeup removers and cleansers around the brows can break down the solution used in the lamination process.

  • Cleanse the area with gentle, non-abrasive cleansers, avoiding direct scrubbing on the brow area.

  • To keep them in place, gently brush your brows into the desired shape using a spoolie brush, which will be given to you after your lamination.

  • In order to avoid kinks in your eyebrows, try to sleep on your side or back.

 FAQs

  • Threading is not included in the price because it take time and effort for each individual service. If you are planning on getting your eyebrows threaded, please remember to book that service along with the eyebrow lamination and/or eyebrow dye. The price ranges from $12-15, depending on whether you qualify for the discount. To learn more about the discounts, click here.

  • If you have thinner eyebrows, but longer eyebrow hair, the lamination might just be what you're looking for to increase the thickness of your brows. Additionally, if you have curly hair within your eyebrows or have gaps within them, the lamination will help relax the hair & lengthen and realign your shape. It's important to note that if you have too many gaps or really strong curls, the lamination might not be able to work as well. Upon your consultation, whether it's virtual or in-person, I will honestly let you know if I think it's worth it or not. I may also recommend adding or replacing this service with another, depending on what you're trying to achieve. *This service is NOT RECOMMENDED for pregnant women or if you're breastfeeding as a safety precaution. In addition, if you have Psoriasis/Eczema, Alopecia, extremely sensitive skin, or use retinol, this treatment is not for you.

  • The service usually lasts between 4 to 6 weeks with good maintenance. There are many things that can reduce its effect like oil, brow products, serums, and more. The most important time is the first two days after the lamination.

  • Yes, but you can only get the Eyebrow Dye with the profusion system. The Henna Eyebrow Tint cannot be used because your eyebrows will likely react to the product.

  • Redness and mild swelling is normal after your treatment. If you develop a blister or rash, call your doctor's office (this is extremely rare and is most commonly due to a black tint during the brow dyeing process or if you're allergic, which can be avoided with the patch test). Please contact me if you need a consultation on whether to book the brow dye or not.

  • Although not required, I recommend that you book a patch test and your eyebrow threading a few days prior to your lamination to avoid irritation and an allergic reaction down the road, although the majority of my clients prefer both the threading and lamination on the same day and have never had an issue. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, please avoid this service.
